Oil dispersions have a number of benefits over typical suspension concentrates, including improved foliar retention, spreading and uptake of actives, as well as the delivery of water instable actives, an important feature in the burgeoning area of bio-pesticides and bio-stimulants. Additional benefits from Lubrizol’s co-formulants can include enhanced sustainability and excellent product life without the need for biocides. However, achieving high concentration, multiple actives, stable oil dispersions with broad applicability is one of the more significant formulating challenges in pesticide delivery.
