Schercemol™ DIA ester can work as a good solubilizer for various organic UV filters and helps improve the in vitro SPF/UVAPF performance of the UV filters in formulation. Therefore, it is commonly used in suncare formulations, where it also functions as a non-oily emollient. Schercemol™ DIA ester is also an excellent solvent and non-volatile carrier for aroma chemicals, where it does not distort subtle fragrance notes. It is often used in hydro-alcoholic formulations because of its excellent compatibility in such systems. Other typical end uses for Schercemol DIA ester are deodorant and dry-shampoo sprays.
