Pemulen™ polymers are high molecular weight, crosslinked copolymers.. They are primarily used to form stable oil-in-water emulsions. Pemulen polymers contain both hydrophobic and hydrophilic portions within the molecule. The hydrophobic portion of the polymer adsorbs at the oil phase and the hydrophilic portion swells in the water forming a gel network around the oil droplets to provide exceptional emulsion stability.

Pemulen™ 1621 polymer | Pemulen™ 1621 polymer is a moderately crosslinked, hydrophobically-modified, acrylic acid copolymer powder. It is designed to form stable oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. It is a cost-effective polymer for medium viscosity emulsions recommended for use in automotive care, polishes and protectants. It is also suitable for use in anti-icing fluids. |
Pemulen™ 1622 polymer | Pemulen™ 1622 polymer is a lightly crosslinked, hydrophobically-modified, acrylic acid copolymer powder. It is designed to form stable oil-in-water emulsions at low use levels. It is a cost-effective polymer for low viscosity emulsions recommended for use in sprayable automotive products, polishes and protectants. |
