Next-generation TPUs (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) with flame-retardants are now available in halogenated and non-halogenated versions. Halogen-free grades are an effective alternative to PVC in wire and cable and meet the more stringent requirements for non-halogenated compounds in Europe.
