Arnau Pano is Senior Vice President and President of Lubrizol Advanced Materials for The Lubrizol Corporation, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. In this role, he is responsible for managing and growing a diverse portfolio of businesses that improve the performance and reliability of products in the health, beauty, home, medical, pharmaceutical, industrial, and building and construction industries, among others.
He joined Lubrizol in 2011 when the company acquired Merquinsa, a leading specialty TPU company, where Arnau was Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Merquinsa, Arnau spent more than 15 years with General Electric where he held diverse business management positions with GE Plastics, GE Power Controls and GE Consumer Industrial in Europe.
Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager, Lubrizol Engineered Polymers, and Vice President, Lubrizol Advanced Materials, South Asia. In this role, he led the Engineered Polymers division in growing one of the deepest, most specialized portfolios available in many building and construction, industrial, sports, recreational and consumer goods applications. He also oversaw LZAM’s South Asia region.
Arnau earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Quimico de Sarria in Barcelona, a postgraduate degree on Economical Aspects of Chemistry from the University of Detroit and an MBA from ESADE, in Barcelona.
